Rights & Reproductions
Rights, Reproductions, and Permissions at NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale
NSU Art Museum grants permission to download collection images for personal and non-commercial use, or for fair use as defined by United States Copyright Laws.
Requests for other uses must be made in writing. Fees may apply depending on the type and nature of use.
How to Order
Please complete the External Photo Material & Reproduction Request Form provided below and you will receive an email with a form download link. Download the PDF and fill it out. Then email the completed PDF form to firstname.lastname@example.org. If fees apply, you will receive an invoice for which payment must be received before images can be sent.
Requests received in with less than one month before they are needed will be considered a “rush” request for which a fee will be charged.
To expedite requests, please complete all parts of the Request Form and allow 2-3 weeks for processing. Once payment has been received (if required), please allow an additional 2 weeks for receipt of images. Large and/or complex requests, especially those that require new photography, may require 4 weeks or more to complete.
Identifying copyright holder(s) and obtaining permission to publish artwork from the NSU Art Museum collection are the responsibility of the requester. In many cases, the museum does not hold copyright to collection materials and cannot address copyright and permission requests. For information about researching the copyright status of a work, please consult the NSU Office of Copyright website.
