Friends is an active volunteer service and fundraising organization for the NSU Art Museum
The Mission, Purpose and History of Friends
FRIENDS is an exciting volunteer and fundraising organization supporting the NSU Art Museum. Our MISSION is to promote the Museum year-round via cultural, fundraising, and special events that are both educational and social, including art lectures, lunches, and field trips. Much of our energy is devoted to fundraising to support the Museum’s programs, primarily focused on education for community youth. By joining FRIENDS, members participate in and support our MUSEUM and meet other culture and community-minded people throughout South Florida. Our Quarterly Newsletter, THE PALETTE, helps members keep up with exhibits and art-related news, and includes our Program Calendar, covering September through May, so that each of us may learn about and sign up for the multitude of activities and meetings available.
Please Join Us
Please join Friends, or renew your membership. Our year runs from July 1 through June 30. Membership is open to all NSU Art Museum members.
Fill out the information on our Application as you would like it to appear in the Friends Membership Year Book. Membership includes individual and/or household members, so please specify all names you would like included. Please respond by September 1st for inclusion in the Year Book, and also remember to renew your Art Museum membership as it becomes due.
We have also included a Volunteer Request. It takes much effort to organize and present our activities. By getting involved you will gain a deeper understanding of our group and certainly make some new great friends. Please give us as much support as you can as a Volunteer.
