Artist GeoVanna Gonzalez’s practice explores shifting notions of gender and identity and relationships between the organic and the technological. Through installation, sculpture, video, and photography, Gonzalez obscures, disrupts and interferes with ideas and issues connected to both the virtual/real environment and identities. Now based in Miami, she has recently been based in Berlin, Germany, where she was part of a collective that worked on exhibitions and events that focused on body politics, gender, labor, sexuality and art.
